C.T. Clough sketches

These two notebooks, containing sketches made by Charles T. Clough around 1895, were donated to the EGS in August 2025. The donor was Rosslyn McPhaill, whose mother had helped a neighbour by the name of Flossie, Clough’s eldest daughter and to which one of the notebooks (gold-backed) was dedicated. The younger daughter Edie was also a recipient of a Clough notebook (blue-backed).
